Nike Cyclone Jacket from Swanson Studio on Vimeo.

When it comes to slow motion, the phantom video camera is the cream of the crop, the pick of the litter, straight up—the best of the best. It slows down time to a point so we can see what our eyes usually miss. And Swanson Studio got their hands on this baby for this two-day shoot!

Above, is the video from the camera that can shoot at 2,800fps in 1080p. It was in action at the Nike shoot in NW Portland featuring the Nike Cyclone waterproof jacket (FYI–This camera can also shoot up to 10, 750 fps). We wanted to celebrate the jacket’s motion and ability to repel water, but in a slower way—which made it look surreal.

It was a full crew and an awesome two days! We created a behind the scenes video that shows just how much went into this production. The only downside is that the behind the scens was shot on a Canon 7D.  Just by comparing footage, you can see that it felt achingly incomparable to the Phantom.

Here is our behind the scenes video!
